The Institute for Continuing Care Education and Research (ICCER) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kelly Baskerville as our new Executive Director.

Kelly brings more than 20 years of experience in the continuing care sector, with a career spanning clinical practice, leadership, education, quality improvement, and research. She has also contributed to the sector through her work with gerontological nursing associations at the chapter, provincial, and national levels.

Throughout her career, Kelly has demonstrated a deep commitment to improving continuing care through evidence-informed leadership, collaborative partnerships, and person-centered approaches. Her combined professional expertise and personal connection to continuing care—shaped by the experiences of family members in Alberta lodges and long-term care—underscore her passion for creating positive and lasting change in the system.

Based in Calgary, Kelly looks forward to engaging with ICCER members, partners, and stakeholders in the coming months. Her leadership will play a key role in shaping both ICCER’s immediate priorities and its long-term strategy.

Please join us in welcoming Kelly Baskerville to the ICCER community.
